Here’s a helpful roundup from Adriel Hampton, a Gov 2.0 guru, on Twitter’s decision to make their first government relations hire in DC. He’s also on Twitter @adrielhampton.
The roundup includes the reaction from Mark Drapeau (@cheeky_geeky) that I mentioned in yesterday’s post and a post from Digiphile (@digiphile) which includes extensive thoughts from Sean Garrett (@SG), who does communications for Twitter.
Links to my previous two posts on this are here and here.
In Washington, every single day people hire government relations staff and sign sizable contracts with service providers for similar assistance. The Tech community and the Beltway both have an echo chamber effect, but when those two combine–Wow!
